    Client Manager, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Anna joined the Drury | Porter Novelli team in November 2014 as a client manager, having previously worked in broadcast and print journalism for almost a decade.

    With expertise in strategic communications, issues management and media relations, Anna currently works across a range of corporate clients including McDonald’s, KPMG, Hines, Beaumont Hospital, Roadstone and Big Mountain Productions.

    Anna holds a BSc in Communications and Journalism from DIT. Outside of work, her interests include travel and running. A dog lover, she aspires to one day own a brown daschund called Jonty!

  • Anne-Marie Curran

    Managing Director, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Appointed managing director of Drury | Porter Novelli in June 2010, Anne-Marie joined the agency in 2004. Anne-Marie combines her management role with strategic client support on a wide range of assignments and acts as a senior consultant on many of the firm's retained accounts, taking an active role in special project work. She has worked on several large crisis projects in particular those involving litigation and major transactions in the infrastructure, financial services, logistics, and food and beverage sectors.

    Her work with her favoured charities, the Oesophageal Cancer Fund and Orbis Ireland has seen her make a dress from lollipops and run 10k in Ethiopia. A graduate of University College Dublin, there's a theme of three with Anne-Marie. She hails from Meath, Donegal and Kerry and she holds a DIT Masters in Public Relations, a Kings Inn Diploma in Legal Studies and a Diploma in Life Coaching.

    Chairman, Drury | Porter Novelli

    With over 30 years experience, Billy has been to the forefront of the public relations sector in Ireland since he co-founded Drury | Porter Novelli in 1989. Always a calm voice, Billy has advised on some of Ireland’s most high profile business stories and most difficult corporate challenges over that time. However, much of his best work has been lower profile where he brings experienced insights, sound perspectives and effective solutions to clients. He is a much sought after counsel to many of Ireland’s influential business leaders. Billy is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.

    Self-proclaimed lover of shoes and addicted to all things beauty-related, Breena is passionate about lifestyle, fashion and beauty PR. Having worked with lifestyle brands for over 12 years, Breena has a deep understanding of how to get top class results for her clients. Over the course of her career, she has worked on a wide range of consumer brands including brands from the L'Oreal portfolio, Vichy and La Roche-Posay.

    She is currently client director on the Littlewoods Ireland account - as well as Nivea, Vita Coco and Peroni Nastro Azzurro. Breena is a big advocate of digital/social PR and has vast experience in creating integrated campaigns that help brands communicate in the digital world. Breena holds a Diploma in Digital Marketing and a BBS Degree in Marketing & Languages.

    Managing front of house for the Drury | Porter Novelli team, Debbie is a dynamic professional who has extensive experience working as a receptionist, personal assistant and PR executive. Passionate about singing, Debbie occasionally performs at weddings and corporate events.

    Having worked previously with a large Dublin agency, Debbie gained invaluable experience in public relations. In recent years she worked in the charitable sector while on contract with The Atlantic Philanthropies, a global foundation. An exceptionally skilled organiser with strengths in administration, event management and communications, Debbie is delighted to be back in PR, her first love. She has collected a few diplomas over the years, in Public Relations, Digital Marketing and Personal & Executive Coaching.

    Accounts Assistant, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Gavin is a key member of the Finance team at Drury | Porter Novelli, primarily responsible for AP & AR in addition to providing key support across the month end process.

    Gavin joined the team from Heatons where he held a finance position for several years. Prior to this, he worked in retail management with Spar and SuperValu.

    A graduate of University College Dublin, he holds an honours BSc degree, an Accounting Technicians Ireland qualification and is currently working towards the ACCA qualification.

  • Gerry Naughton

    Client Director, Drury | Porter Novelli

    A native of Dublin, Gerry has a wealth of experience in the public affairs arena, straddling the political and public sector environment. He was Political Director with Fine Gael from 2003 to 2009 where he worked closely with the party leadership and contributed to the party's political recovery. During a 20 year career in the civil service he served as a Programme Manager and Private Secretary to a number of Ministers. Gerry was Director of Government and Media Relations at the Institute of Chartered Accountants from 1997 to 2002 and he was responsible for Communications at InjuriesBoard.ie before he joined Drury | Porter Novelli.

    Gerry works with a large number of clients on political issues. He also provides strategic advice to clients who want to develop or sharpen their message as well as practical training for those undertaking media interviews and profiles.

    Outside of politics, his interests revolve mainly around the Dubs and Liverpool FC.

  • Iarla Mongey

    Director, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Iarla Mongey has worked in public affairs, government communications and journalism for over 20 years. He joined Drury | Porter Novelli as its Head of Public Affairs in 2005 having served as the Deputy Government Press Secretary, and was official press secretary for then Tánaiste Mary Harney, since 2000. Iarla began his career in local radio broadcasting and worked in RTE in the mid 1990's. He later served as political correspondent with syndicated news service INN and was based at Leinster House for almost 3 years.

    One of the most insightful advisers on the Irish political establishment and the media landscape, Iarla has a highly informed perspective on the workings of Government, the Oireachtas and Public Service and has specialist expertise in public affairs, stakeholder engagement, and issues and reputation management. At Drury | Porter Novelli he advises a range of clients from CRH PLC, Rehab Group, AIB, the Cement Manufacturers of Ireland, Tallaght Hospital, Stafford Group Holdings and Alexion Pharma.

    John joined Drury | Porter Novelli in 2013 as a public affairs client manager having previously worked for over three years as a policy and media advisor in Leinster House for a Government TD.

    An established communications professional, John's expertise lies in the areas of strategic communications, stakeholder engagement and issues management. In addition, John complements his public affairs role with his considerable public policy and consultation experience gained in previous positions as an urban planner.

    John currently works with a range of Drury | Porter Novelli's corporate clients, business representative organisations and public bodies. A graduate of University College Dublin, he holds an honours BA degree and an honours Masters in Regional and Urban Planning.

    Karen Ferris is a client director with Drury | Porter Novelli, with over ten years communications experience. Karen’s expertise lies in the area of development and implementation of strategic communications plans, media and stakeholder communications and issue and crisis management. She brings a real passion and energy to her work, driven by the objective of delivering results and building strong relationships with clients.

    Karen works with large PLCs from Paddy Power to Greencore and public sector clients such as Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland and InterTradeIreland. Karen is very active on communications for large scale infrastructure projects and has completed a Best Practice Consultation course with the Consultation Institute in the UK.

    Karen was a student of public administration and worked as a tutor in Local Government while completing her Masters in Peace & Development Studies at the University of Limerick.

    Client Manager, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Laura joined Drury | Porter Novelli in August 2007 and specialises in creating high-impact and creative PR campaigns that deliver on objectives. She holds an honours degree in English and Media Studies from the University of Ulster and an MA in Public Relations from DIT. Laura currently works with consumer clients such as The Doyle Collection, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Discover Farmhouse Cheese, Littlewoods Ireland, Nivea, and Philanthropy Ireland.

    Part of Laura’s remit is to continually refresh and revive the well-known brands that she works on and she has been involved in several high profile campaigns including the One Percent Difference Campaign, Dublin Fashion Festival and the Peroni Moda Awards.

    A number of Laura’s campaigns have been highly commended by the PRII including Dine in Dublin, The Mater Private and several campaigns with Vodafone Ireland including the launch of Vodafone 360, World of Difference and Paperless Billing, all Vodafone Ireland.

    Louise joined the Drury | Porter Novelli team in April 2014 and works across clients from a variety of sectors including corporate, consumer, hospitality and technology PR. As part of the corporate PR team, Louise's clients include McDonald’s, Interxion, Duff and Phelps, and Tourism Ireland. She also works on consumer clients such as Tesco, HP and The Westbury Hotel.

    Louise joined the team from Griffith College Dublin where she worked as a Marketing Executive. Prior to this she worked as an Account Executive with Limelight Communications. Louise holds a BA in English and New Media from the University of Limerick and an MA in Public Relations from Dublin Institute of Technology.

    Senior Client Executive, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Working across corporate and consumer accounts, Luke develops and manages digital strategies for some of the world’s most innovative brands, and provides support to the corporate team through the development and implementation of client’s communications strategies.

    Energetic and hard working, Luke enjoys undertaking new challenges which add to his knowledge and skillset so that he can advise clients on the most up to date tools and tactics in a rapidly changing communications environment. Luke currently works with a range of corporate and consumer clients including ACCA, Aurivo, InterTradeIreland, Vita Coco and popchips amongst others.

    A graduate of DIT, Luke holds an MA in Public Relations and a BSc in Retail and Services Management.

    Maria joined Drury | Porter Novelli in August 2012 as a client manager.

    With several years PR experience, Maria brings both a creative and strategic approach to her client work across corporate, technology and project communications. Maria’s expertise lies in strategic communications, media relations and public consultation.

    Maria currently works with a range of clients across multinationals, state agencies and SMEs. Maria holds a BSc in Architecture, an Advanced Diploma in Project Management from Dublin Business School and a Diploma in Public Relations from the Fitzwilliam Institute.

    Martha is a director with ten years experience in corporate and brand communications, and reputation management across sectors including retail, technology, healthcare, leisure and financial services. She is passionate about achieving the very best results for her clients and has developed and led several PRII award winning campaigns in recent years.

    Prior to joining Drury | Porter Novelli in 2006, she worked with Enterprise Ireland in its Paris office. She holds a diploma in digital marketing and is a graduate of DCU, with a First Class Honours MA in International Relations and a BA in Applied Languages. Originally from Wexford, she is a fluent French speaker and is partial to yoga, retail therapy, running, cycling and general gallivanting.

    Senior Client Manager, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Morwenna is a Senior Client Manager at Drury | Porter Novelli. With experience in corporate, healthcare, crisis communications and not-for-profit PR she is used to working with busy clients in a range of sectors including education, tourism and aviation, energy, enterprise and health awareness. She has a proven track record in devising and implementing creative and effective PR campaigns and has been involved in a number of campaigns that won PRII Awards of Excellence.

    Prior to joining the agency, Morwenna worked in New Zealand on one of her trips around the world and previously worked in FleishmanHillard and Corporate Reputations.

    Morwenna holds an honours degree in Geography and Sociology from UCD and a diploma in PR and event management from Fitzwilliam Institute. Passionate about rugby and music Morwenna can usually be found in the stands of the RDS or at music festivals at the weekends.

    Nicky is Head of Brand Communications at Drury | Porter Novelli. Nicky has worked with some of the world’s largest and most recognisable brand names, developing strategic brand and integrated PR campaigns. With over 15 years experience, her areas of expertise include FMCG, retail, lifestyle and travel sectors. She has a proven track record in creating and delivering ground breaking PR campaigns and has been awarded several PRII Awards of Excellence.

    Nicky currently advises a range of clients including Littlewoods Ireland, GloHealth and Connacht Gold amongst others.

    Prior to joining the agency, Nicky was a Director of MCsquared and also worked in FleishmanHillard. Nicky is a full member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and the PRII, and holds a BA in European Studies with French & German and a Diploma in Public Relations.

    With over two decades experience in corporate and financial public relations, Paddy Hughes has advised and worked with the boards and senior management teams of leading national and multinational companies across a range of sectors. He advises clients in relation to a broad range of corporate related activity such as strategic communications, reputation management, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, financial restructurings, issues and crisis management.

    Having worked as press officer with a major multinational, Paddy joined Drury | Porter Novelli in 1996 and was appointed to its Board in 2005. Paddy is a former board director of the Public Relations Consultants Association and a former President of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.

    Client Executive, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Sandra joined the Drury | Porter Novelli team in 2014 as Client Executive. Sandra has a background in advertising sales but gained a love for PR when she interned in Belfast with CMPR whilst studying for her Masters. Here she worked on Ireland’s largest ever outdoor arts event, ‘Land of Giants’ staged on the iconic Titanic slipways.

    Sandra is part of our corporate team and primarily works on the EirGrid account but loves to chip in to support our other clients whenever possible.

    Sandra’s day to day role could be anything from dealing with stakeholder queries, media relations, or event management.

    Sandra holds a degree in English and Sociology from NUI Maynooth and a Masters in Communications, Advertising and Public Relations from University of Ulster, Jordanstown. Outside of office hours Sandra is an avid traveller, concert goer and dog lover but is at her happiest when she is enjoying a strong cup of tea in her native home of Meath!

    Shane joined Drury | Porter Novelli from Gibney Communications, where he worked on a number of blue-chip clients. A sports fanatic, Shane is passionate and hard working, with a driven focus and proven track record of generating coverage.

    A graduate of DIT and UCD, Shane holds an MA in Public Relations and BA in Economics and Geography.

    Finance Director and company Secretary, Sinead joined Drury | Porter Novelli in 2007. Sinead has 12 years experience in finance, and is responsible for the financial and commercial management of all aspects of the business in addition to all governance and company secretarial duties. Alongside her core role, Sinead manages the support services of the business including IT and HR.

    Sinead’s attention to detail and great understanding of the role of communications in business make her a valued support to our clients as well as guaranteeing the excellent financial performance of Drury | Porter Novelli. Prior to joining Drury | Porter Novelli, Sinead held finance positions in the banking and energy sectors in Ireland.

    Sinead holds a BSc in Finance from Queens University Belfast, is ACCA qualified and a fellow member of the ACCA.
