    Associate Director, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Anna joined the Drury | Porter Novelli team in November 2014 as a client manager, having previously worked in broadcast and print journalism for almost a decade.

    With expertise in strategic communications, issues management and media relations, Anna currently works across a range of corporate clients including McDonald’s, KPMG, Beaumont Hospital, Three Ireland, TTM Healthcare, Orbis Ireland and Tallaght Hospital.

    Anna holds a BSc in Communications and Journalism from DIT. Outside of work, her interests include travel and running. A dog lover, she aspires to one day own a brown daschund called Jonty!

  • Anne-Marie Curran

    Managing Director, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Appointed managing director of Drury | Porter Novelli in June 2010, Anne-Marie joined the agency in 2004. Anne-Marie combines her management role with strategic client support on a wide range of assignments and acts as a senior consultant on many of the firm's retained accounts, taking an active role in special project work. She has worked on several large crisis projects in particular those involving litigation and major transactions in the infrastructure, financial services, logistics, and food and beverage sectors.

    Her work with her favoured charities, the Oesophageal Cancer Fund and Orbis Ireland has seen her make a dress from lollipops and run 10k in Ethiopia. A graduate of University College Dublin, there's a theme of three with Anne-Marie. She hails from Meath, Donegal and Kerry and she holds a DIT Masters in Public Relations, a Kings Inn Diploma in Legal Studies and a Diploma in Life Coaching.

    Chairman, Drury | Porter Novelli

    With over 30 years experience, Billy has been to the forefront of the public relations sector in Ireland since he co-founded Drury | Porter Novelli in 1989. Always a calm voice, Billy has advised on some of Ireland’s most high profile business stories and most difficult corporate challenges over that time. However, much of his best work has been lower profile where he brings experienced insights, sound perspectives and effective solutions to clients. He is a much sought after counsel to many of Ireland’s influential business leaders. Billy is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.

    Creative Director, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Self-proclaimed lover of shoes and addicted to all things beauty-related, Breena is passionate about lifestyle, fashion and beauty PR. Having worked with lifestyle brands for over 12 years, Breena has a deep understanding of how to get top class results for her clients. Over the course of her career, she has worked on a wide range of consumer brands including brands from the L'Oreal portfolio, Vichy and La Roche-Posay.

    She is currently client director on the Littlewoods Ireland account - as well as Nivea, Vita Coco, Tetra Pak Tree Day and Brereton Jewellers. Breena is a big advocate of digital/social PR and has vast experience in creating integrated campaigns that help brands communicate in the digital world. Breena holds a Diploma in Digital Marketing and a BBS Degree in Marketing & Languages.

    Cathal joined Drury | Porter Novelli as a client manager in 2016 and works across a range of corporate and consumer clients.

    With expertise in strategic communications and media relations, Cathal advises clients in relation to a broad range of corporate related activity such as reputation, issues and crisis management. He also works closely with clients to develop key messages and content tailored specifically for their target audiences.

    Cathal began his career in print and broadcast journalism and holds a Diploma in Advertising, Marketing, Sales and PR as well as Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees.

    Executive PA, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Ciara joined Drury Porter Novelli to support Anne-Marie Curran and the Management Team as Executive PA in November 2016.

    Before joining DruryPN, Ciara worked as PA to the Chief Financial Officer and Chairman of Paddy Power for 2.5 years. Prior to that, she worked for 15 years in AIB covering numerous roles across Human Resources and Executive Support, finishing her time there working with both the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer. Her knowledge and experience in these areas are an asset to Drury | Porter Novelli.

    Ciara is a graduate of National College of Ireland where she studied Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations. She also holds a diploma in Business Management from Dublin Institute of Technology.

    Client Executive, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Claire joined Drury | Porter Novelli in 2016 upon completion of an MA in Public Relations from Dublin Institute of Technology. She currently works with clients such as Tourism Ireland, The Road Safety Authority, Science Foundation Ireland, Hibernia College and Ronald McDonald House Charity.


    Claire’s day to day role involves working closely with the team to assist in rolling out client campaigns, securing media coverage and monitoring campaign activity. She has a strong understanding of how to engage media and consumers, as well as keeping up to date with media coverage and industry developments relating to her clients’ sectors.


    Claire has a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Culture and Society from Dublin City University.

    Office Manager, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Managing front of house for the Drury | Porter Novelli team, Debbie is a dynamic professional who has extensive experience working as a receptionist, personal assistant and PR executive. Passionate about singing, Debbie occasionally performs at weddings and corporate events.

    Having worked previously with a large Dublin agency, Debbie gained invaluable experience in public relations. In recent years she worked in the charitable sector while on contract with The Atlantic Philanthropies, a global foundation. An exceptionally skilled organiser with strengths in administration, event management and communications, Debbie is delighted to be back in PR, her first love. She has collected a few diplomas over the years, in Public Relations, Digital Marketing and Personal & Executive Coaching.

    Head of Health & Wellness, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Eimear has over a decade of strategic communications experience advising, Chief Executives, Directors and Boards in a range of markets. She has built communications departments from the ground up - leading the implementation of collaboration models for impactful communications strategies.

    Specialising in creative healthcare campaigns she is committed to bespoke solutions and is expert in brand-building, internal communications, advocacy, crisis and issues management, media and digital services.

    During her career Eimear has worked both in house for multinational pharma, with public health bodies and charity and agency communications across a range of therapeutic areas. She has led campaigns across ethical and consumer health sectors with dual media outreach, stakeholder management, patient advocacy, crisis and issues management. She spent the last number of years in the UK and holds extensive knowledge and contacts across the media and policy landscape there.

    Working closely with the Porter Novelli Global Health and Wellness Practice, Eimear leads health care for Drury | Porter Novelli in Ireland which includes clients in biopharma, consumer and ethical health, industry groups, charities, patient and public services.

    Fiona joined Drury | Porter Novelli in 2016 as a Client Director, after more than 9 years with Paddy Power plc.

    As Head of Retail Marketing for Paddy Power, she was responsible for all marketing activity across the Paddy Power shop network in Ireland. During her time at Paddy Power, she devised and executed a range of impactful and highly successful campaigns to drive footfall and build loyalty.

    Prior to joining Paddy Power, Fiona was a brand manager with an Irish wine importer and foodservice company. Fiona is passionately customer-focussed and commercially oriented and has a deep understanding of marketing and brand strategy.

    She holds a B.Comm and a Masters in Business Administration from UCD.

    Financial Assistant Accountant, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Gavin is a key member of the Finance team at Drury | Porter Novelli, primarily responsible for AP & AR in addition to providing key support across the month end process.

    Gavin joined the team from Heatons where he held a finance position for several years. Prior to this, he worked in retail management with Spar and SuperValu.

    A graduate of University College Dublin, he holds an honours BSc degree, an Accounting Technicians Ireland qualification and is currently working towards the ACCA qualification.

  • Gerry Naughton

    Director, Drury | Porter Novelli

    A native of Dublin, Gerry has a wealth of experience in the public affairs arena, straddling the political and public sector environment. He was Political Director with Fine Gael from 2003 to 2009 where he worked closely with the party leadership and contributed to the party's political recovery. During a 20 year career in the civil service he served as a Programme Manager and Private Secretary to a number of Ministers. Gerry was Director of Government and Media Relations at the Institute of Chartered Accountants from 1997 to 2002 and he was responsible for Communications at InjuriesBoard.ie before he joined Drury | Porter Novelli.

    Gerry works with a large number of clients on political issues. He also provides strategic advice to clients who want to develop or sharpen their message as well as practical training for those undertaking media interviews and profiles.

    Outside of politics, his interests revolve mainly around the Dubs and Liverpool FC.

  • Grace Cooney

    Senior Client Executive, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Grace joined the Drury | Porter Novelli team in November 2016 as a Senior Client Executive and works across a variety of corporate and consumer clients. She supports clients such as McDonald’s, The Road Safety Authority and charity organisations, Orbis and the Oesophageal Cancer Fund, with excellent tactical execution and delivery of activity. An avid user of social media, Grace has a keen knowledge of digital marketing and enjoys developing savvy social media strategies.

    Prior to joining DruryPN, Grace acted as an account executive at Heneghan PR where she gained an immense knowledge of healthcare PR as well as multiple areas within technology PR and crisis communications.

    Grace holds a BA in English and New Media from the University of Limerick and a MA in Journalism and Media Communications from Griffith College Dublin. She recently completed a Diploma in Online Marketing and Digital Strategy.

    Lauren joined Drury | Porter Novelli in 2016. Lauren is a key member of the finance team, primarily responsible for AP & AR while also providing key support across the month end process.

    Lauren joined the team from Irish Progressive Services International (IPSI), where she held a finance position for 2 years. Prior to this, she worked as a ballet teacher for many years.

    Lauren holds a BA in Mathematics and Geography from NUI Maynooth and is currently working towards her ACCA qualification.

    Louise joined the Drury | Porter Novelli team in April 2014 and works across clients from a variety of sectors including corporate, consumer, hospitality and technology PR. As part of the corporate PR team, Louise's clients include McDonald’s, Interxion, Three Ireland and Tourism Ireland. She also works on consumer clients such as Littlewoods Ireland and The Westbury Hotel.

    Louise joined the team from Griffith College Dublin where she worked as a Marketing Executive. Prior to this she worked as an Account Executive with Limelight Communications. Louise holds a BA in English and New Media from the University of Limerick and an MA in Public Relations from Dublin Institute of Technology.

    Client Manager, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Working across corporate and consumer accounts, Luke develops and manages digital strategies for some of the world’s most innovative brands, and provides support to the corporate team through the development and implementation of client’s communications strategies.

    Energetic and hard working, Luke enjoys undertaking new challenges which add to his knowledge and skillset so that he can advise clients on the most up to date tools and tactics in a rapidly changing communications environment. Luke currently works with a range of corporate and consumer clients including ACCA, Aurivo, InterTradeIreland, Vita Coco and OCF's Lollipop Day amongst others.

    A graduate of DIT, Luke holds an MA in Public Relations and a BSc in Retail and Services Management.

  • Michael Ward

    Client Executive, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Michael Ward joined Drury | Porter Novelli in 2015 and is a Client Executive on the Public Affairs team. He is passionate about public affairs and communications and has experience in the areas of politics, research, marketing and public awareness campaigns.

    Michael has previously worked at the Institute of Public Affairs in London, in the Leinster House office of a Government party Senator, and in the international marketing division of Lagardère, France. He also has many years of experience of political activism and voluntary work with youth groups and election campaigns.

    Michael graduated with a first class degree in European Studies at Trinity College Dublin. He subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Comparative Politics at the London School of Economics.

    Morwenna is a Client Director at Drury | Porter Novelli. With experience in corporate, healthcare, crisis communications and not-for-profit PR she is used to working with busy clients in a range of sectors including education, tourism and aviation, energy, enterprise and health awareness. She has a proven track record in devising and implementing creative and effective PR campaigns and has been involved in a number of campaigns that won PRII Awards of Excellence.

    Prior to joining the agency, Morwenna worked in New Zealand on one of her trips around the world and previously worked in FleishmanHillard and Corporate Reputations.

    Morwenna holds an honours degree in Geography and Sociology from UCD and a diploma in PR and event management from Fitzwilliam Institute. Passionate about rugby and music Morwenna can usually be found in the stands of the RDS or at music festivals at the weekends.

    Nicky is Head of Brand Communications at Drury | Porter Novelli. Nicky has worked with some of the world’s largest and most recognisable brand names, developing strategic brand and integrated PR campaigns. With over 15 years experience, her areas of expertise include FMCG, retail, lifestyle and travel sectors. She has a proven track record in creating and delivering ground breaking PR campaigns and has been awarded several PRII Awards of Excellence.

    Nicky currently advises a range of clients including Littlewoods Ireland, Love Irish Food and Connacht Gold amongst others.

    Prior to joining the agency, Nicky was a Director of MCsquared and also worked in FleishmanHillard. Nicky is a full member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and the PRII, and holds a BA in European Studies with French & German and a Diploma in Public Relations.

    Nimah joined Drury | Porter Novelli in 2015 and is a Client Executive on the Consumer and Brand Communications team.

    Nimah has extensive knowledge of all things beauty and fashion related, having worked in these industries since the age of 16. As part of the Consumer team Nimah works across clients including Littlewoods Ireland, Nivea, Sam's Barbers and Bioderma.

    Nimah describes herself as an ambitious, diligent and loyal individual with a self-proclaimed love for anything that sparkles!

    A graduate of DIT and University of Limerick, Nimah holds an MA in Public Relations and BA in New Media and English.

    Orlaith joined the Drury | Porter Novelli team in January 2016, working across a variety of consumer clients that include Vita Coco, The Westbury, Santa Maria Novella and Make A Wish. With a background in luxury and consumer brands, Orlaith is passionate about all areas of lifestyle, fashion and beauty.

    Orlaith joined the team from Kennedy PR where she worked as an Account Executive. Prior to this she worked with Harmonia publishing. Orlaith holds a BA in Journalism from Dublin City University. Passionate about fashion and music, Orlaith spends her time reading about latest trends and attending live gigs at the weekends.

    With over two decades experience in corporate and financial public relations, Paddy Hughes has advised and worked with the boards and senior management teams of leading national and multinational companies across a range of sectors. He advises clients in relation to a broad range of corporate related activity such as strategic communications, reputation management, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, financial restructurings, issues and crisis management.

    Having worked as press officer with a major multinational, Paddy joined Drury | Porter Novelli in 1996 and was appointed to its Board in 2005. Paddy is a former board director of the Public Relations Consultants Association and a former President of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.

    Client Manager, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Paul joined Drury | Porter Novelli in September 2016 and is a Client Manager on the Public Affairs team.

    Paul worked at the heart of Government for a number of years, firstly as a Parliamentary Press Officer before becoming Deputy Communications Adviser to the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection. Having worked closely with senior Ministers, special advisers and senior officials right across Government, Paul has an excellent understanding of the governing and legislative process in Ireland.

    Paul advises clients on their interactions with political stakeholders, and is experienced in executing proactive communications strategies and carrying out reactive and crisis communications.

    Prior to working in politics Paul worked for a multinational medical devices company and an international development charity, and he also lived and worked in the Middle East for a number of years.

    Paul holds an Honours BL in Law and European Studies and a First Class Honours Masters in Politics from University College Cork.

    Rob joined Drury | Porter Novelli in November 2015 having worked as a Corporate Affairs Consultant for MHP Communications in London and most recently as Public Affairs Manager for Newham Council, London.

    Rob has managed the corporate communications and stakeholder engagement activities for clients in the technology, construction, housing, energy and sports sectors.

    He currently works across a range of corporate clients including Enterprise Ireland, Hines Ireland and the Oesophageal Cancer Fund.

    Rob holds an MA in Public Affairs and Political Communication from DIT and a BA in English and History from UCD.

    Client Manager, Drury | Porter Novelli

    Sarah joined Drury | Porter Novelli in 2015 as a Client Manager and works with clients like the Commission for Energy Regulation, Science Foundation Ireland and Greencore. She has a background in politics, with extensive experience in both government and opposition perspectives.

    As Fine Gael’s Dublin Regional Organiser, she was responsible for strategy, planning and internal communications. As the party’s National Youth Officer, Sarah devised and implemented a long-term political and communications programme, using campaigns as a core element of her four year plan to revitalise the organisation.

    As Parliamentary Assistant to Tom Hayes TD, now Minister of State for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Sarah was responsible for research, communications, media and public affairs.

    She also spent a number of years working in publishing, in a small start-up in Dublin and in Oxford University Press.

    Sarah has a BA Hons (English & History) from UCC where she was a College Scholar, and she was the Fr. William J. Harvey Fellow in Boston College. She also has a Diploma in PR from the PRII.

    Finance Director and company Secretary, Sinead joined Drury | Porter Novelli in 2007. Sinead has 12 years experience in finance, and is responsible for the financial and commercial management of all aspects of the business in addition to all governance and company secretarial duties. Alongside her core role, Sinead manages the support services of the business including IT and HR.

    Sinead’s attention to detail and great understanding of the role of communications in business make her a valued support to our clients as well as guaranteeing the excellent financial performance of Drury | Porter Novelli. Prior to joining Drury | Porter Novelli, Sinead held finance positions in the banking and energy sectors in Ireland.

    Sinead holds a BSc in Finance from Queens University Belfast, is ACCA qualified and a fellow member of the ACCA.
